SI3000 CS
Call Server, the brain of the next-generation network, manages calls, controls access and trunk gateways, delivers services, and creates revenue-generating opportunities.
The SI3000 Call Server enables the delivery of network solutions with a comprehensive set of services that create revenue-generation opportunities for different service providers. The SI3000 CS rich feature and protocol set enables different network topologies and solutions in either pure IP or mixed TDM-IP environment. Class 4 solutions include advanced routing and charging features. Subscriber feature set for Class 5 solutions can be configured to satisfy basic residential needs, or to satisfy advanced business subscribers with IP Centrex demands. A unique dual mode SI3000 IMS compact core ensures seamless migration from NGN to IMS.
The same SI3000 CS software solution is available on two HW platforms: ATCA platform - targeting larger capacities, and Iskratel´s proprietary MEA platform.
The SI3000 CS is core component of many of Iskratel solutions.
The basic idea of NGN / IMS is the convergence of voice, data and multimedia applications within a common network. The figure shows Iskratel NGN / IMS architecture and the positions of individual network elements.
NGN / IMS solutions include some typical applications that are specific with regard to their purposes or the environment in which the NGN solution is located. The NGN / IMS solution is able to provide the following services:
- Voice service
- Data service
- Multimedia service
- Integrated service
Application servers with CSTA support and voice services solutions with VoXML.
Services platform in addition provides intelligent network services, such as Number Portability, enabling easy integration of call server solutions into regulated multi-operator environment.
There are typically three applications
As Class 4 functionality:
- signaling and media gateways controll with MGCP or H.248
- support for SIGTRAN protocols (IUA, M2UA, M3UA, V5UA) and CAS protocols
- trunking with H.323, SIP, SIP-T/SIP-I
As Class 5 functionality :
- support of different SIP terminal equipments (softphones, deskphones)
- access gateways controll with MGCP or H.248 with support for analogue and ISDN terminals
- reach feature set support
As Iskratel Business Communication - IBC :

- The SI3000 CS offers the most appropriate infrastructural enhancements for existing PSTN networks. With the introduction of the SI3000 CS the operator quickly broadens the range of profitable subscriber services without the need to replace any additional equipment.
