SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW
The SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW for mobile WiMAX supports authentication, service-flow authorization, policy enforcement and mobility for subscribers as well as full roaming and interoperability support. Its rich set of interfaces specified by the WiMAX Forum NWG Reference Model provides an entry point to mobile stations, base stations, CSN and neighboring ASN-GWs. Due to its split architecture, where the control and data plane are separated, the system is very flexible – centralized or distributed deployments.
SI3000 WiMAX ASN/AAA Express
SI3000 WiMAX ASN/AAA Express is a compact version of the SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW that uses the control logic of the ASN and CSN reference interfaces. It runs on a stand-alone x86 server, virtual machines in a cloud or PC (demo showcase) and contains the same features as ASN-C with the extension of authentication and authorization policies. The SI3000 WiMAX ASN/AAA architecture is optimized with the aim of less core-network complexity for vertical/niche markets such as SmartGrids and small WiSPs looking for low CAPEX in a WiMAX core (ASN/CSN) – NO NEED for complex ASN-GW and Home Agent (Mobile IP). AAA Express software has been 
developed as a cost-competitive alternative to commercial AAA solutions.
SI3000 WIMAX Subscriber Manager
SI3000 WIMAX Subscriber Manager provides complete monitoring and control of WiMAX subscriber devices:
- Client-server architecture provides a full-featured intuitive interface for the advanced management of subscriber devices
- Performance collection for subscriber devices to gather statistical data
- Provides northbound interfaces for OSS integration
- Supports the import of device and profile lists (via XML)
- Support for several WiMAX subscriber devices with the TR-069 or OMA-DM management protocol
- Last-mile broadband wireless access in rural environment
- WISP networks access
- Smart-grids connectivity
- Private and enterprise networks
- Government and emergency services
- Utilities networks (airports, railways, pipelines, etc.)
- Fully standardized WiMAX Forum complied end-to-end solution for service providers
