Hosted Business Communication

    Overview 

    The solution optimally fits into the existing network infrastructure, while it complements the service provider cloud offerings to prevent churn  and increase ARPU.

    Hosted (or cloud-based) Business Communication is applicable for SOHO, SME and large corporations, and offers advanced telephony services with numerous business features and enriched multimedia applications like:  

    • Fixed-mobile convergence with single identity services regardless of the device type, mobile or fixed
    • HD Audio and HD Video
    • Web-based self-care portals
    • Rich voice services like ring back tones, voicemail, messaging2email
    • Rich communication services like presence, IM, file transfer, group chat
    Application 

    Solution offers modern SIP-based business applications such as

    • Virtual PBX
      Virtual IP PBX, implemented in the service provider’s network, always provides up-to-date business communication services. Customers hire Business Communication packages and terminal equipment from the service provider. The customer hires as many subscriber lines as needed at a certain time. Business Communication packages are easily managed and administered by every customer via a web interface.
    • Business trunking
      Provides connectivity for IP/PBX systems into Telco’s public  and enables features such as DDI, charging (CDR generation), calling-number screening and overlay features like AutoAttendant.
    • PBX integration
      This type of application model is suitable for business customers who want to own and maintain the in-house system themselves. In this case the service provider ensures the connectivity of their PBX system with the public communication network with a certain call capacity. By including a PBX system the system becomes a member of a business group with users and PBX systems at the locations (VPN - Virtual Private Network).
    • Managed IP-PBX
      The opposite to PBX integration, the service provider installs a new IP PBX onsite (please check the SI3000 mUC product), charges for the number of phones/lines and maintains the system.
    • PBX overlay services
      In this case the service provider ensures the connectivity of their PBX system with the public communication network with a certain call capacity and ensures the overlay services on top of the PBX services. For instance, a single identity service with rich communication service capabilities can be added to such legacy PBX lines.
    • Services beyond VoIP
      Fax2Email, Web collaboration and CRM integration as stand-alone entities.
    • On-site gateway
      • The business gateway Innbox F68 is a technically sophisticated and cost-efficient VoIP business gateway, fiber-to-the-office (FTTO) gateway and business-class wireless access point in a single networking device, while preserving past investments in analog telephones and faxes. It is used for the secure VPN connection of small and medium branch offices to an IP network, over electrical Ethernet, optical Ethernet (E-P2P) or optionally 3G as well. By integrating a unique intelligent defection prevention and self-healing functions the use of Innbox F68 significantly reduces the CAPEX and OPEX of the service providers and has an important impact on an improved end-user experience, which is crucial for business customers.
      • The SI3000 Peso is a stand-alone VoIP gateway that offers a smooth transition from analog telephony to an IP network. It offers a cost-effective telephony solution for small to mid-size businesses. The SI3000 Peso can also be used as an upgrade for an old corporate POTS network, without changing your existing equipment.
